So...yes. I'm a big David Bowie fan. I agree with pianist Mike Garson who calls Bowie "the Miles Davis of rock and roll." Bowie had a profound impact on my idea of what you did as an artist, what was possible, and how strange and fun the whole trip could be. He showed me how music can be a way to navigate the chaos that goes on inside of our heads and the chaos that seems to define day-to-day existence on this planet. I'm glad one of my favorite artists is still with us, still with is gorgeous wife, and still creating great work. New album comes out March 12. I'm pre-ordering my copy later this week.
