Widow at NEW GENRE XXIII Festival

"Widow," my collaboration with artist and filmmaker Jil Guyon, is being screened tonight at the New Genre Arts Festival by Living Arts of Tulsa. "Widow" will be presented as an installation that will run through March 24.

I created the score for "Widow" back in 2014, and the video premiered that year at the Lincoln Center Dance on Camera Film Festival. Since then, "Widow" has screened at festivals and museums across the U.S. and in Canada, and has gone on to win several awards for Jil's direction and performance.

The music includes electronics by yours truly, drum kit and gong performances by my friend SPIKE the percussionist, and vocals by mezzo-soprano Lainie Diamond.
