Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater presents: Three's A Crowd, July 29 - August 1, 2021

I am incredibly excited about this . . . Choreographer Blakeley White-McGuire has created a new work for Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater using my re-imagined version for string quartet of David Bowie's iconic song "Heroes." The music will be performed live.

This is from the press release:

World-renowned artists come to Bell Works, including Michael Trusnovec, staging an excerpt from Paul Taylor’s “Roses” and Blakeley White-McGuire, performing Martha Graham’s “Lamentation” and “Satyric Festival Song.” Other choreographers include international artist Riccardo De Nigris, AXCBT Artistic Director Gabriel Chajnik, & New York City Ballet's Gilbert Bolden III. Fresh choreographic voices are AXCBT’s Olivia Miranda & Lindsay Jorgensen, and guest artist Aldeir Monteiro.
Music by Wagner, Mendelssohn, Piazzolla, and the world premiere of composer Chris Becker’s special arrangement for string quartet of David Bowie’s “Heroes.”
